Challenge

Eagle Management Group wanted a way to provide near real time visual status of a customer order. Operations would use a mobile app to upload booth photos. Once approved those photos would be available to a customer for review.

Our Solution

Cyberwolf Software developed a multifaceted solution consisting of a web application, an employee mobile app and a customer mobile app. As part of the web app, the Labor Order System database was extended and a set of web APIs were created. The focus of the web app was to handle the photo storage, reviewing photos and approving them for customer review (which has since been semi-automated) and search capabilities to allow an employee or user to find booth photos easily.

Results

The driver for the solution was to provide Eagle's customer base with up to date information related to their order. This is similar to what Fedex/UPS provide with package tracking only in a much more visual way. The result is a customer now has a touch point to work that it usually cannot see themselves as most customer contacts are not at the shows where the booths are located. In addition, Eagle now has an additional marketing and communications channel to the customer to reinforce the excellence of their work.
