Operations Photo Management - Employee

Challenge

EMG Employees needed a way to provide near real time visual communications (photos) cross-referenced to a customer order that could be posted to the cloud and subsequently searched and viewed by customers. The app had to be mobile as the show floor is not always the most hospitable place for infrastructure and networking.

• Provide an app to allow employees to upload photos
• Photos must be tagged (or linked) to an order
• Leverage existing mobile devices and networks
• Provide cloud storage of uploaded photos

Our Solution

Cyberwolf Software designed and developed an iOS/Android mobile app that leveraged existing information from the Labor Order System. The mobile app used this information with additional functionality that allowed an Eagle employee on the Show Floor to take and upload photos to the cloud. Once approved using the OPM Web app, then those photos would be available to the customer for review.

Results

In the first 6 months, more that 750 MB of booth photos have been uploaded to customer orders. The process has become part of the regular supervisory process of booth installation and dismantle. Eagle is now requesting additional features so that their customers can have other order related information.
